Riffian, Riff Berber, or Riffian Berber is a Northern variety of the Berber language spoken by 3.4 million Moroccans, mainly in the Rif provinces, and among the Riffians in the diaspora, notably in the rest of Morocco, Algeria and a few European countries . Major Moroccan cities that have large numbers of Riffian Berber speakers are, by order of concentration ; Nador, Al Hoceima and to a lesser extent Tangier and Oujda.
