Delo, or Ntribu, is a Gur language of Ghana and Togo, spoken east of Kete Krachi in the Volta Region (Ghana). Kropp-Dakubu
classifies this as descended (together with Chala from the southeastern division of a putative Proto-Grusi - a member of the
northern division is Kasem while in the southwestern division are Chakali, Tampulma, Vagla, and Deg, and Sisaala with its
own descendants or varieties, Tumuli, Debi and Pasale. Westermann and Bryan regarded this language, however, as a form of
Tem. |
