Nasal is a small language of southwestern Sumatra discovered in 2008. Classification is not established, but it might prove
to be related to Rejang. Nasal is spoken in the Nasal River area of Kaur Regency, Bengkulu Province, Sumatra, in the villages
of Tanjung Betuah, Gedung Menung, and Tanjung Baru. There are many loanwords from Lampung. |
