Mopan is a language that belongs to the Yucatecan branch of the Mayan languages. It is spoken by the Mopan people. It is spoken in Belize in Cayo and San Antonio, and Guatemala, in the towns of San Luis, Poptún, Melchor, and Dolores . Its word order is VOS, which is unique among the Yucatecan languages. The other Yucatecan languages are Yucatec, Lacandon (Lakantun), and Itza.
