Kemie, is a poorly classified Mon–Khmer language spoken by about 1,000 people in Jinghong County, Xishuangbanna, China. Li (2005) proposes that it is a Mangic language. Palaungic affinity is also possible. Like most other Austroasiatic languages, Kemie has subject–verb–object (SVO) word order. The Kemie's autonyms include man13 met53 曼咪, khɤ31 met53 克蔑, and khɤ31 miŋ33 克敏 .
