(Jamaican) Country Sign Language (JCSL) is an indigenous sign language used by the older signers in the rural deaf community near Knockpatrick in southwest Jamaica. Younger signers have shifted to the local form of American Sign Language, known as Jamaican Sign Language, and older signers known ASL as well.
