Hadoti is a dialect of Rajasthani language, spoken in the Hadoti region of India: Kota, Baran, Bundi and Jhalawar districts
of Rajasthan and its adjacent areas of Madhya Pradesh. About four(4) million speakers in Kota, Bundi, Baran and Jhalawar districts
of Rajasthan. It has a nominative marker /nE/ which is absent in other dialects of Rajasthani. Its word order is typical subject–object–verb
(SOV) and its characteristic feature, unlike Hindi, is presence or absence of agentive marker in perfect depending on the
nature of accusative marker. |
